Tūruki provides Hauora Māori scholarships and funding for those who want to contribute to hauora in Hawke’s Bay.

Criteria:

You are eligible for the above scholarship if:

Have whakapapa Māori
Demonstrate a commitment to hauora Māori
Be an Aotearoa citizen
Studying for a certificate or diploma qualification (Level 1-6). Qualifications including; health, leadership, business, administration, finance and data analysis to improve Māori health outcomes
You agree to participate in any promotion activities associated with the scholarship
You agree that information can be shared pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993.

To apply you will need to provide:

Pepeha (you can include your iwi registration number)
CV
Cover Letter (please include the type of scholarship you are applying for)
Confirmation of enrolment
Course fees
Two references from a kaumātua and/or employer
Academic Transcript (not mandatory if this is your first year of study)
Employment details (not mandatory)
