Applications are available in two funding rounds:
- 1 April – 1 May 2024
- 2 August – 2 September 2024
Criteria:
You are eligible for the above scholarship if:
- Have whakapapa Māori or have a desire to improve hauora Māori
- Studying for a graduate certificate, graduate diploma, Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, Bachelor’s Honours degree, Master’s degree, doctoral degree (level 7-10) relating to Health
- Work, intend to work or volunteer in the health sector to support beneficial Māori health outcomes
- Be an Aotearoa citizen
- You agree to participate in any promotion activities associated with the scholarship
- You agree that information can be shared pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993
To apply you will need to provide:
- Pepeha (you can include your iwi registration number)
- CV
- Cover Letter (must include the type of scholarship you are applying for)
- Confirmation of enrolment
- Course fees
- Two references from kaumātua and/or employer
- Academic Transcript (not mandatory if this is your first year of study)
- Employment details (not mandatory)
