The programme was developed in 2008 as a partnership between the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board, Iwi and Māori Hauora Providers.
The Tūruki strategy is a direct response to addressing the health needs of Māori people in Hawke’s Bay, aiming to build a healthcare workforce that represents the cultural profile of our community.
